New Maverick Jigs
Maverick Jig: Maverick has produced a line of jigs that are inexpensive but made from the best components. Their football head jigs have a 6/0 Gamakatsu wide gap hook capable of holding a full size beaver style bait. These jigs come in a select group of colors. If you look at most fishermens jig box they really only carry a few colors, their confidence baits, Maverick uses that same philosophy. They have produce a smaller selection of colors but the right colors for most lake conditions. Maverick also added an Arky style jig for flipping to this line that has a Gamakatsu round bend hook for those who do not like the wide gap style hook. During this last ESPN Elite Series Tournament some of the Pro's had the opportunity to throw this bait with great success, most commented on the hooking power of this bait and the simplistic color combinations making for a more natural presentation.
