EDitorial

A lot of time has been spent on blogs lately discussing the positives and negatives of informing people about bad things that may happen around lakes and such.  As long as that information is for the purpose of informing people before their trip I think this is good, it allows us to prepare and know what we must do to have a good time and enjoy our fishing trips.  I would refrain form just taking information and using it hurt our industry and our community.  For all those who read the blogs and may have jumped to conclusions remember every business every tackle store here on clear lake is trying to do what ever it can to support its customers and community and get people up here to this great lake to do some fishing or just have a good time.

As for the green stuff on the lake, each year rumors start and most are not based on any real facts.  The lake has these blooms every year the type may vary but this is a natural lake and with that comes these algae blooms part of which make this a great fishing lake.  Yes we have weeds and again these weeds grow depending on the light penetration so years where we have clear water we tend to have more weed growth.   So if your planning a trip these things are normal come up enjoy the lake catch some fish and have a good time.
