Richard Pounds is going into his 11 year as a full time guide on Clear Lake, spending over 200 days a year in pursuit of big bass. His goal is to create good memories for clients and teaching all the necessary tactics   needed for future success at catching bass.  Ross England is the owner/operator of Clear Lake Guide Service, a full time guide specializing in serving his clients on Clear Lake.  He has been fishing for bass exclusively since 1973, competing in both team and draw tournament events since 1981, having  qualified for dozens of TOC events, and is a 2 time Redman All American.  Ross held the Clear Lake tournament record of 41.78 pounds for a five fish limit for several years.  Ross and his wife Debi have lived in Kelseyville since 2002.

Want to learn how to catch fish on Live Minnows?

Call the store 707-262-1233 and set up a time to come in and have a 1 on 1 with Ed on the basics of Minnow fishing for Bass or Catfish.

 

We will review the best way to set your rod and reel up, explain when to use a sliding float and when to use a sliding weight system.  We will describe the bite and how to set the hook so you know when you are on the water what to expect.  Spend a few minutes with us and learn a fun way to catch some fish in the winter months for you and the family.
